Fountain Insurance Brokers Limited was incorporated on 30th October 1989 with RC No.140915 as a private unlimited liability company. The company was subsequently registered as insurance/reinsurance brokers, life and pensions consultants with RBC No.52.

The company is owned by British and Nigerian investors who are all insurance
professionals and have practiced insurance broking in all its ramification over the last three decades, both nationally and internationally, including Lloyd's of London. They are all fully involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.

The company today has been recapitalized to N120,000,000:00, over and above
minimum paid-up share capital statutorily required of insurance firms in Nigeria under the Insurance Decree No 2 of 1997. This has enabled the company to upgrade its head office to the present address and open up offices in Kano, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan. These offices are equipped with modern equipment to facilitate speedy de- livery of qualitative service to our numerous clients in an environment that is friendly and welcoming.

In the local insurance market, our present owners are reputed for their expertise in the development of new insurance products, risk management programme design and implementaon, packaging tailor-made insurance policies for large and medium scale manufacturing, construcon and commercial risks, and making posive contribuons to
the market generally. Also through our technical partner, Rickard Lazenby Internaonal
Co. Limited (Insurance Brokers), we have access to internaonal insurance markets
including Lloyds of London for risk placements.

Through careful selecon processes we have been able to assemble a crop of staff that are
highly qualified and experienced in insurance broking. With the level of confidence, they
enjoy from the board and management, the right infrastructure on ground, we are
posioned to render that quality service expected of a world-class insurance broking
